These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of VinAudit's vehicle history reports, VIN decoder, license plate lookup, market value tool, ownership cost tool, automotive market data feeds, APIs, and any related products or services (collectively, the "Services") operated by VinAudit.com, Inc. ("VinAudit", "we", "our").

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Permitted use

Reports are licensed for the individual transaction or use case you purchase them for. You may not republish, resell, or redistribute VinAudit data without a written commercial agreement.

3. Data source disclaimer

VinAudit is an approved NMVTIS data provider. Data accuracy depends on state agencies, insurance partners, and other reporting sources. Records can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. VinAudit reports are informational and not a substitute for a professional inspection.

4. Compliance

Use of license plate lookup, ownership history, and personal-data adjacent features must comply with the Driver's Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) and applicable state law.

5. Refunds

Refund eligibility and process are described at purchase. Reports delivered are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VinAudit's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Services is limited to the amount paid by you for the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim.
